Residents of Kwa-Thema have started gathering at the Ndaba Tree ahead of the planned March and March demonstration today (June 30).
According to an African Reporter journalist at the scene, participants are still arriving, while organisers have yet to reach the assembly point.
The route of the march has not been confirmed and is expected to be announced once the organisers arrive.
A brief meeting is also expected to take place before the demonstration gets underway.
