The U.S. Embassy Ghana has made available more than 2,000 new non-immigrant visa appointment slots for B1/B2 applicants within the next two weeks.
The move is expected to ease scheduling pressures for Ghanaians seeking to travel to the United States for business, tourism or family visits.
In a public notice, the Embassy indicated that individuals who already have visa interview dates later in the year may consider rescheduling to take advantage of the newly released earlier slots.
B1 visas cover short-term business travel, while B2 visas are issued for tourism and family-related visits.
Applicants have been advised to consult the Embassy’s official visa platform for detailed information on booking and appointment changes. Visit https://gh.usembassy.gov/visas/
The Embassy’s decision to expand available slots is aimed at enhancing service delivery and improving access to visa processing for eligible travellers in Ghana.
