TENET urges the youth to cultivate the habit of savings

By Benjamin Makafui Attipoe, Sogakope

An Executive Officer of Tenet Partners Marketing Limited, Ghana, Mr. Joseph Agbodeka, has stressed the need for the youth not only to cultivate the habit of savings but also learn to do little investments from such savings, adding that such a move could change their future fortunes forever. He also urged the youth to abstain from drug use and abuse, saying drug intake can derail them from achieving their goals in life.

Mr. Agbodeka made the call at the inauguration of a Tenet charity office or centre at Sogakope in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region. The office would be used to promote the activities and programmes of Tenet in the area and beyond towards the realization of its vision and mission, which include promoting community development, empowering the youth, supporting school projects through its charity work as well as helping to create some job opportunities for the teeming youth of the area. Charity items meant for distribution to or donation to individuals and institutions in the area, would also be routed through such an office alongside being a consulting office for Tenet services.

Inaugurating the office, Mr Agbodeka, who is also the Founder of the charity home or center in the area, noted that many of the youth of today take interest in quick money instead of practicing diligent and strategic savings towards their future. According to him, the situation has led some of the youth into drug use and abuse which eventually affect their lives including their mental health.

Mr. Agbodeka disclosed that Tenet Partners Marketing Limited has registered with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana and that government is fully aware of its operations in the country. He gave the assurance that Tenet would positively impact many Ghanaians, particularly the youth, during its five-year project period in Ghana of 2025 to 2030.

The Executive Officer also disclosed that since its inception in Ghana in 2025, Tenet has supported more than 300,000 individuals across the country with clothing, food and other items in order to make life a bit bearable for such needy and vulnerable beneficiaries. Schools, he said, have also benefited from classroom blocks and teaching and learning material projects from Tenet in order to improve the school learning environment and also promote effective academic work in such beneficiary schools.

A Senior Executive Officer of Tenet, Mr. Isaiah Adjokatcher as well as a Senior Manager of the company, Mr. Bismarck Ameho, both of the Kpassa charity home in the Nkwanta North district of the Oti Region, urged the youth of the area not only to embrace the vision and mission of the company but also support Tenet to transform their lives and ultimately improve the lives of residents of their communities.

The Planning Committee Chairman and Coordinator of the Sogakope Charity Office, Mr. Emmanuel Avorkpo, described the inauguration of the office in the area as a dream come true and urged the youth to take advantage of it to improve their lot.

An Opinion Leader of the Agorkpo Electoral Area at Sogakope, Mr. George Zigah, chaired the function. He later joined the other leaders of Tenet and some of the dignitaries to cut the tape to inaugurate the centre.

Established in 2014 in United States of America (USA), Tenet is now in Ghana to help the vulnerable, aged, orphans, widows and communities through its charity activities and community development initiatives such as building of schools, clinics and community centres amongst others.
