Following recent floods that affected several communities across Ghana, the Stanbic Bank Ghana has donated relief items to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to support ongoing emergency response and recovery efforts.
The items, which include mattresses, life jackets, food supplies, and other essentials, are valued at approximately GHC400,000 and are intended to assist affected families in flood-hit areas.
The presentation was made on behalf of the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank Ghana, Kwamina Asomaning, by Dinah Kaleo-Bioh, Head of Business and Commercial Banking.
The relief items were received by the Deputy Director-General of National Disaster Management Organisation in charge of Livelihoods and Migration, Hon. Albert Akuka Alalzuuga.

The floods, which impacted several communities in recent weeks, prompted emergency response measures from state agencies and partner organisations, with NADMO coordinating relief and recovery operations.
Stanbic Bank Ghana indicated that the support forms part of efforts to contribute to recovery initiatives and assist communities affected by natural disasters.
Emergency responders and volunteers continue to work in affected areas as recovery efforts progress.
