Next Titan begins season 11 broadcast across four TV networks

Nigeria’s entrepreneurial reality television show, ‘Betano-The Next Titan Nigeria’, has begun its 11th season, with the programme airing across four major television networks as it seeks to identify and nurture the country’s next generation of entrepreneurs.

The 10-week competition premiered on October 3 on DStv Africa Magic Family and began airing on October 4 on TVC Entertainment, HIPTV and Silverbird Network.

The new season features a N50 million grand prize for the winner and runners-up, with 20 finalists selected from 75 contestants who made it through the programme’s bootcamp stage.

The finalists will move into the Titan House, where they will compete in business challenges, innovation tasks, strategic decision-making exercises and real-world execution scenarios.

The competition will also include mentorship sessions and weekly eliminations, culminating in the emergence of the Season 11 champion.

The organisers said the programme is designed to go beyond entertainment by exposing young entrepreneurs to practical business challenges while showcasing entrepreneurship as a career and economic opportunity.

Now in its 11th season, the show has positioned itself as a platform for discovering business ideas and entrepreneurial talent, particularly among young Nigerians seeking to build or expand businesses.

The return of the programme comes as Nigeria continues to grapple with youth unemployment and the need to create more opportunities for young people to participate in the formal economy.

Through the competition, participants are expected to demonstrate their ability to develop ideas, make business decisions and execute under pressure, with the television format giving viewers a look at both the challenges and opportunities associated with entrepreneurship.

Betano is the title and lead sponsor of the programme, while Cadbury, Sun King, Arik Air, Nigerite, Veritasi Homes, GIGM and Jojo & Co are among the associate sponsors and partners supporting the new season.

The organisers said the corporate backing reflects the growing role of private-sector partnerships in supporting youth development and economic inclusion.

With the programme now being broadcast across multiple television networks, Season 11 is expected to bring the contestants’ entrepreneurial journeys to a broad Nigerian audience while providing the eventual winner and other successful contestants with financial support to start or strengthen their businesses.
