Tension is high at the 37-lorry station, as traders vow to resist the alleged take over of the station by element believed to be assigns of business mogul, Daniel McKorley.

The traders are already in radical confrontation with the leadership of the local Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) who they claim are in bed with McDan to take over the land.

Information available to The Herald indicates that a meeting to calm tempers and get the traders to pack out escalated when angry traders disrupted the process midway.

A video which has been intercepted by The Herald, shows some traders casting doubt about the legitimacy of the acquisition.

The video, further showed how some traders were packing their belongings to unknown destinations.

Aspect of the voices in the video, also hinted of a demolition of structures on the land expected to be carried out on the dawn of Thursday March 13, 2025.

In an interview with one of the affected trader, who gave his name as Yaw Kwakye, they would resist the supposed sale with their blood.

He called for clarity on the supposed sale, asking if it was the Akufo-Addo government that sold the land or the newly formed Mahama administration.
