The GNPC Foundation has partnered with the KGL Foundation to expand scholarship opportunities for Ghanaian students as part of a new approach to corporate social investment through public-private collaboration.
Under the partnership, an additional 1,000 Ghanaian students will receive support through the GNPC Foundation and KGL scholarship programme.
The initiative builds on the GNPC Foundation’s support for more than 9,700 students through its national and international scholarship programmes over the years.
The partnership is intended to bring together the resources, expertise, networks and institutional capabilities of the two organisations to expand the reach of educational support.
The GNPC Foundation said the collaboration marked an important development in its approach to social investment, with greater emphasis on partnerships, scale, accountability and measurable impact.

It said the partnership would help connect public development priorities with private-sector resources to create interventions capable of reaching more people and delivering lasting value.
The Foundation said the collaboration demonstrated the potential of public institutions and private enterprises working together to address development needs.
The partnership forms part of efforts to support education and human capital development while creating opportunities for more Ghanaian young people to access scholarship support.
