The Economic Development Board of Mauritius, in partnership with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), is set to organise a high-level Business Forum in Accra aimed at strengthening investment and trade relations between Ghana and Mauritius.
The event, themed “Mauritius: Your Strategic Platform for Ghanaian Capital, Growth & Global Expansion”, will take place next week, Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Accra Marriott Hotel.
According to the organisers, the forum will provide Ghanaian businesses and investors with strategic insights into the Mauritius International Financial Centre (IFC), which is being promoted as a premier platform for structuring international investments, preserving capital and supporting the global expansion of enterprises.
The organisers said the forum would highlight Mauritius’ position as a world-class financial centre, offering a safe, stable and predictable jurisdiction for businesses and investors.
Participants are also expected to learn more about the country’s business-friendly environment and the opportunities available for Ghanaian enterprises seeking international growth and market expansion.
The Business Forum will be followed by a networking session expected to bring together business leaders, investors, financial experts and policymakers from both countries.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic cooperation between Ghana and Mauritius while encouraging cross-border investments and strategic partnerships within Africa and beyond.
