COSSA Head Office donates medical supplies to Cocoa Clinics

The COCOBOD Senior Staff Association (COSSA-Head Office) has donated wheelchairs and medical supplies to Cocoa Clinics in Accra, Kumasi, and Debiso to support healthcare delivery and improve patient care.

The donation, which is the first of its kind by the association, forms part of COSSA’s commitment to promoting the welfare of cocoa farmers, staff, and the general public through improved healthcare services.

Chairman of COSSA-Head Office, Issah Abdul-Razak, said the items would help facilitate the movement of patients within the clinics and enable healthcare professionals to provide more efficient services.

He added that the initiative demonstrates COSSA’s commitment to supporting healthcare services within COCOBOD and advancing the organisation’s broader welfare agenda for its stakeholders and surrounding communities.

Presenting the items on behalf of the association, Deputy Director of Human Resource at COCOBOD and COSSA member, Paz Owusu Boakye, highlighted the importance of corporate social responsibility and giving back to society.

She noted that such initiatives help support vulnerable groups while creating meaningful and lasting impacts within communities.

Owusu Boakye further emphasised that investments in healthcare contribute to building a healthy and productive workforce, which ultimately supports societal development.

Receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiary clinics, Senior Medical Manager at Cocoa Clinic, James Addo Tetteh, expressed appreciation to COSSA for the gesture.

He assured the association that the donated items would be put to effective use to improve healthcare delivery and enhance patients’ comfort across the facilities.
