Acting Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has formally handed over the affairs of the ministry to newly sworn-in Minister Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.
Mr Armah-Kofi Buah said the handover meeting provided an opportunity to brief Dr Agyeman-Rawlings on the ministry’s ongoing initiatives, key milestones and current operational status.
He said the briefing was intended to facilitate a smooth and seamless transition as Dr Agyeman-Rawlings assumes responsibility for the ministry.
Mr Armah-Kofi Buah expressed confidence in the new minister’s ability to build on the progress made and deliver further results in support of President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda.
He also expressed gratitude to President Mahama for the opportunity to serve in government, describing his appointment as an honour and a reflection of the trust placed in him.
“I extend my profound gratitude to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for the honour and trust reposed in me,” he said.
