Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has arrived in Burkina Faso for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
He was received at the airport in Ouagadougou by Burkina Faso’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Karamoko Jean-Marie Traoré, and Ghana’s Ambassador to Burkina Faso, H.E. Kenneth Akibate.
The visit is expected to focus on reinforcing security collaboration at a time when the sub-region continues to confront terrorism and other cross-border threats.
Discussions will also centre on deepening political consultations and expanding areas of mutual interest.

Strategic agreements are expected to be signed as part of efforts to formalise areas of collaboration and boost cooperation across key sectors.
