LaToya Luckett is ready for some fun in the sun.
The singer, actress and former Destiny’s Child member recently joined Rickey Smiley, Da Brat and the crew to talk about her upcoming appearance on the One Voyage Cruise, sailing from Miami October 26 through November 1.

Luckett revealed that she is already a fan of Virgin Voyages and has taken several cruises with the company. According to the entertainer, the experience keeps her coming back.
“I am a Virgin Voyages girl,” Luckett said, explaining that she loves the food, staff, destinations and cleanliness.
And when it comes to cruise food, Luckett knows exactly what she wants.
She named Italian food, risotto, fettuccine Alfredo and cacio e pepe among her favorites. She also said she would happily enjoy some grilled fish and vegetables, along with grilled lobster while visiting the Bahamas.
Packing for the trip is another story. Luckett said she plans to bring swimwear, sunscreen, hair products and shower shoes. She also knows she needs to prepare for Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Night, which means packing something red.
As for entertainment, Luckett admitted that she is not exactly ready for the ship’s Spades tournament. When Gary asked if she plays, she confessed that she’s more of an Uno person.

“I’m not a Spades girl,” she said.
Luckett also opened up about her career and her experience working with Tyler Perry. She currently stars as Rashida in Divorced Sistas and had plenty of praise for Perry, calling the job one of the most amazing experiences she has been blessed to have.
She said Perry is kind to his actors and staff, although performers better know their lines when they arrive on set.
When asked whether she prefers acting or singing, Luckett couldn’t choose.
“I can’t decide between acting and singing,” she said, explaining that she feels blessed to share her talents across different platforms.
The conversation also turned to her Destiny’s Child days. Would she reunite with the group if the opportunity came?

“Absolutely,” Luckett said. “If they call me, I’m coming for sure.”
During the lightning round, Luckett revealed that she would choose a romantic comedy over an action movie, believes men and women can be friends, and would pick love over money.
“For me, love overall,” she said, emphasizing the importance of family, support and having someone she can be comfortable with regardless of circumstances.

Now, Luckett is preparing to bring that same energy to the One Voyage Cruise, where she will join Rickey Smiley, Da Brat and a lineup that includes T.I., Rick Ross, Keith Sweat, Teddy Riley, D.L. Hughley, Wyclef Jean and Doug E. Fresh.
For Luckett, it sounds like the trip will include good food, good music and plenty of laughs.
