Medeama SC to face Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in a friendly match on August 12
Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club are set to take on Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in a friendly match on Wednesday, August 12.
The Ghanaian giants are currently in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where they have pitched camp for the second phase of their pre-season training ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
Since arriving, the Yellow and Mauves have played two friendly matches. In those two matches, Medeama SC won their first but lost the second game.
Now set to engage ASEC Mimosas in a third friendly match, Ibrahim Tanko and his lads will be aiming for a good exercise.

After Wednesday’s friendly, Medeama SC will play two additional friendly matches in Ivory Coast before returning to Ghana to finalise preparations for the new football season.
In the upcoming season, the Ghanaian champions will compete for domestic titles while targeting a strong run in the CAF Champions League.
