Dwight Howard and Royce Reed were both on hand as their son Braylon Howard graduated from high school on Saturday.
Howard shared photos from the day on Instagram, including one picture with Braylon and his classmates. He also posted two shots standing beside his son as Braylon held up his diploma andpumped his fist toward the camera.
“Man what a time.. My first born son. Graduating high-school. Wow. Amazing,” Howard wrote. “Congratulations Braylon on the first of many great accomplishments. I am so proud of you. Love you son.”

Royce Reed also posted a message for Braylon after the graduation.
“Braylon, My heart walking outside my body. I am so proud of you,” she wrote. “Through the trial, the obstacles, those hard times and tough love, YOU made it!”
She later added, “The world is yours to take on. Own it, be successful and be the change you want to see. You’re a man but you’ll always be my BABY!”

The graduation comes a few months after Braylon publicly opened up about some of the tension in his relationship with his father.
In a video posted online, Braylon alleged that several promises made by his father were never fulfilled. He claimed that Howard did not follow through on giving him an iPad and a car that he had previously requested.
“You never got the iPad,” Braylon said in the clip. “You promised me a car. I asked you for a car, knowing the situation we’re in right now, and you did not help out with it.”

“Mind you, on Christmas, he literally only gave me $3,000 in cash and a little notebook,” he added. “Literally a notebook you can get from like Dollar Tree or something, bro. I’m not even playing.”
He also claimed the two later argued after he confronted his father about the situation directly.
“So pretty much, we’re on the phone. I’m arguing with him. I’m like, you said you were gonna give me all this stuff,” Braylon said.
Despite his grievances, Braylon appeared to be in good spirits as he celebrated his big day with both parents there to support him.
