The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, has led management to participate in the Authority’s maiden Grand Iftar, aimed at promoting unity and interfaith harmony among staff.
The event, held on Tuesday (18 March 2026), brought together Muslim staff observing Ramadan, alongside their Christian colleagues, in a show of solidarity, inclusiveness and mutual respect within the institution.
Mr Tameklo was joined by his deputies, Dr Sheila Addo and Dr Dramani Bukari, as management and staff shared the evening meal to mark the breaking of the fast.
Addressing participants, the NPA boss reaffirmed management’s commitment to creating an enabling working environment that supports employees in the practice of their respective religious beliefs.

He stressed that religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence and unity remain critical to fostering harmony and improving productivity within the workplace.
“The Authority is committed to ensuring that all staff feel respected and supported, regardless of their religious background,” he noted.

The Grand Iftar also served as a platform for staff from diverse backgrounds to interact, build stronger relationships and deepen a sense of belonging within the organisation.
The initiative, management indicated, forms part of efforts to promote an inclusive organisational culture anchored on diversity, mutual respect and collective responsibility at the NPA.
