CSA, National Security arrest 32 Nigerians over suspected cybercrime

The Cyber Security Authority, in partnership with National Security, has arrested 32 Nigerian nationals in a coordinated early morning raid at Kasoa–Tuba, authorities have confirmed.

According to a post on CSA’s official Facebook page, the operation led to the seizure of 31 laptops and 15 mobile phones, all suspected of being used for cybercrime.

The devices are currently being analysed for forensic evidence as investigations continue.

The arrested individuals are assisting law enforcement with inquiries. CSA said the raid forms part of ongoing efforts to curb cybercrime and enhance digital security across Ghana.

The Authority reiterated its dedication to safeguarding the country’s digital space and urged citizens to report any suspicious cyber activity through the proper reporting channels.
