Kwa-Thema – A unique concert in Kwa-Thema proves that age is no barrier to purpose, community building, and financial empowerment. Here is what some choir members had to say:
Simon Caka (70): These concerts motivate us not to sit at home with nothing to do. They allow us to participate in activities and encourage young people to stay motivated. Photo: Nomsa Ngubeni
Snowy Mohlala (74): These fundraising concerts make me feel young again. I forget my age when I’m on stage. They keep me active, help me stay fit, and give my brain the stimulation it needs. Photo: Nomsa Ngubeni
Justice Nkambule (74): These concerts remind me of my youth days, especially at primary school, where I used to sing. This experience brings back beautiful memories and helps me forget about my problems.
